T Store Publishes Serialized Webtoons Authored by Rising Cartoon Artists

Seoul, Korea, October 2, 2013—SK Planet today announced that its mobile content marketplace T Store added new webtoon series authored by rising cartoonists.
As part of its efforts to uncover outstanding cartoons and nurture fresh talents, SK Planet hosted 2013 Talent Scout Cartoon Competition in conjunction with Seoul Business Agency (CEO, Lee Jeon-young) in May. Winners have been receiving webtoon management support including webtoon planning, creation, producing and marketing.
Five new creations added to T Store today include ‘Hero Edition’ authored by Son Hee-jun, ‘Snake and the Greyhound’ by Song Jung-wook, ‘Ground Zero’ by Lee Eun-guk, ‘Farewell on the Earth’ by Yang Yae-hwan and ‘Haetae Man’ by Seo Young-ho. New episodes will be added every week free of charge under ‘T Play’ menu on mobile web and T Store application.
Lee Jae-hwan, Senior Vice President and Head of Platform Business Division of SK Planet said, “All these supports are aimed at helping talented cartoon writers enter into the new content platform market. Meanwhile, Korea’s largest content marketplace T Store has been offering 65 latest hit mobile webtoons such as ‘Ying Yeo Do Gam’ written by Ong Deong-kook and ‘Tong’ by Baek Seung-hun.
