Seoul, Korea, November 11, 2015—SK Planet (CEO: Jinwoo So, www.skplanet.com) has entered into a partnership agreement with Shinhan Card (CEO: Wi Sung-ho) to cooperate in the areas of O2O platform and big data for the provision of mobile-based O2O services.
 
 The two partners plan to combine O2O commerce platform with big data analytics in credit card to offer user-oriented services. The synergies created by linking simple payment service with App Card are also expected to boost efficiency in payment.

 Under the cooperation, the two companies are set to improve the availability of O2O and Fintech services. 
 

 The agreement signing ceremony was held on November 10th at SK Planet’s headquarter located in Pangyo Techno Valley.
 

 By creating synergies between the leading O2O commerce provider SK Planet and Korea’s largest credit card issuer Shinhan Card, the partnership will allow the creation of a broad spectrum of services that combine commerce, IT, and credit card.
 
 Under the cooperation, Syrup Wallet will have the ability to store Shinhan App Card, letting its users to not only make payment with it but also check on their credit card statement and transaction history at a glance. The service will also be linked to mobile pre-ordering service Syrup Order to improve service accessibility as well as user convenience.
 
 Moreover, Shinhan Card’s big data platform will be applied to Syrup Wallet to provide customers with information on special benefits according to time, place, and situation. In addition, the two partners will cooperate on various levels such as synchronization of application process of Syrup Pay and Shinhan App Card, and joining of partnering merchants to expand merchant network and promote card acceptance among merchants.
