Seoul, Korea, October 28, 2013—SK Planet announced that it today launched ‘T Map Black Box Plus,’
a service that enables users to receive T Map’s real-time navigation information via LCD and speaker
of their vehicle black boxes thanks to interworking between smartphone and black box.

The company has successfully developed a solution, with which it can provide T Map’s route guidance
information to external devices, and became the first company in Korea to link navigation service
  to black box devices.

‘T Map Black Box Plus’ allows users to enjoy all features of smartphones, while receiving route guidance
service from black box devices made by Pittasoft and HiWave. Moreover, customers can use their
smartphones to view and edit videos stored in their black boxes. And in case any type of sudden impact
occurs while driving, the video is automatically uploaded and stored in T Cloud.

‘T Map Black Box Plus’ is available to all SK Telecom subscribers who use an Android smartphone
installed with T Map. Users of Pittasoft’s ‘Blackvue Wi-Fi T Map Black Box’ or HiWave’s ‘Time Keeper’
can download the T Map Black Box Plus application from T Store.

“Under strong cooperation with Korean SMEs, SK Planet was able to create a new and innovative
service called ‘T Map Black Box Plus,’ which leverages on T Map’s strong navigation feature,” said
Kim Hoo-jong, Vice President and Head of LBS Business Division of SK Planet. “Going forward,
we will continue to work closely with many black box manufacturers to increase the number of black
boxes capable of running T Map Black Box Plus,’ while expanding the type of external devices that
can be linked with T Map contents.”

Meanwhile, to celebrate the launch of ‘T Map Black Box Plus,’ SK Planet will give free NFC tags,
which can automatically activate Black Box Plus via a simple touch on user’s smartphone screen,
to the first 10,000 customers who purchase ‘Blackvue Wi-Fi T Map Black Box’ or ‘Time Keeper’ from 11st.
This special event will be held until November 29.
